Marvel Super Hero Squad Video Game and Costumes

marvelMy boys love Marvel Super Heroes. Last year my oldest was the Hulk and we used the costume again this year for the Halloween Parade. Plus, we collect those little Marvel Super Hero Squad figures – we have over 60. How super is our squad? You can only imagine, with figures like Captain America, Spiderman, Wolverine, Hulk, Angel, Arch Angel … and I could go on and on. We were excited to hear that a Marvel SuperHero Squad video game was coming out. Unfortunately, it is not for the Xbox platform, which is what we own. But it is good news if you have the following platforms: PS2 ($19.99), PSP ($29.99), Wii ($39.99), DS ($29.99)

marvel2The game is based on the animated television series. Marvel Super Hero Squad is an action-adventure, multi-player game, which includes the new, super-stylized Marvel characters and features epic battles and nonstop, high-energy combat gameplay.  The Super Heroes and Super Villains are on a mission to find Infinity Fractals hidden throughout Super Hero City.  Infinity Fractals possess special powers that when fully assembled, can have altering effects on the Marvel Universe.  Players must choose whether to help save the city…or destroy it. It was just released this month.

wolverinePlus, if you haven’t gotten a costume yet, there are plenty of Super Hero options. During the Halloween event we attended, I saw some cute boys wearing the Captain America costume. I love the Black Spiderman costume, personally, and would love to make one of my boys wear the Black Spiderman and my other son the original Spiderman one year. They even have built-in muscles, which is just … super. Finally, I think the X-Men Origins Wolverine Classic Muscle Child Costume would be a hit for almost any boy. All are incredible options and available in a variety of sizes.

One winner will win  a Super Hero costume listed above and the Marvel Super Hero Squad video game.
