Did you know October is National Popcorn Month? That’s fabulous, since it reminds me of the days when you might get a homemade popcorn ball in your Halloween Goody bag! But I think the whole holiday season is full of this tasty treat, since it is such a great snack for get-togethers and makes a great gift, as well! I know that I always loved getting those huge popcorn tins with the three flavored popcorn options inside – cheese, butter or caramel. (Eaten in that order!)
We recently received a spooky tin from the Popcorn Factory for Halloween and the boys went through it like they’ve never had popcorn before. Okay, honestly, they never HAVE had popcorn before. My husband can’t eat it, so it’s not something I have in the house. But, boy the rest of us really enjoyed it. And I loved the black tin decorated with bright ghosts and bats! It is something I will keep and use to hand out treats this Halloween and fill with homemade cookies and snacks in the future. And I’ve checked out the selection for the upcoming holidays and it is FABULOUS!
The great thing about the Popcorn Factory is that they have more than popcorn tins, as classic as they are. You can get an assortment of goodies to give as a gift or have ready at your house for guests. One that I have my eye on right now is the Popcorn Snowman Snack Assortment. It is an overstuffed 2 gallon Popcorn Snowmen design tin that is full of delicious, premium popcorn (Cheese, S’Mores, White Cheddar and festively tinted Holiday Kettle), 2 snowman butter cookies, Jelly Belly® beans, 3 secret-recipe Popcorn Balls, foil-wrapped chocolate snowmen and sourdough pretzel nuggets. YUM! For such a decadent tin, the cost is only $29.99. It makes it an affordable gift for family, friends, teachers and neighbors.
Another drool-worthy option is the Popcorn Snowman Tin and Tower. This 7 or 8 tiered tower includes a 2 gallon 3-Way popcorn mix (Butter, Cheese and Caramel), a Nut Quartet (honey roast and spicy peanuts, pistachios and smoked almonds), 9 Pixies®, chocolate chip cookies, 4 secret-recipe Popcorn Balls, candy cane twists, chocolate snowmen and 5 luscious Coconut Snowballs. The price ranges from $79 – $99.
Honestly, as you go through the selection, everything looks yummy and festive and there is a whole array of price ranges, so there is something within everyone’s budget.

One winner here at the Mom Buzz will win a 2-gallon tin of cheese, caramel and buttered popcorn from the Popcorn Factory.
