For the past three years, Balloon Time has conducted the Balloon Time “Put A Face On Fun” contest – a search for the perfect boy or girl to appear on their packaging and receive $1,500 toward his or her education.
It’s not a pageant contest for the best looking child – instead we’re looking for the face that screams excitement and fun, everything a party is suppose to be.
That’s right – I said “WE”. I am actually going to be a guest judge for this contest! I am pretty darn excited, since I do love the Balloon Time product. I had gotten the kit that includes funny face stickers for my son’s birthday party and it was such a hit! So I really hope a lot of you will enter your children at www.PutAFaceOnFun.com!
Now through Nov. 15, 2009, parents can register their children ages 3 – 11 for the chance to be named the next Balloon Time “Put A Face On Fun” winner. In addition to receiving $1,500 toward his or her education, the grand prize winner will participate in a professional photo shoot and will be featured on Balloon Time’s packaging during the next year. Fifty first-prize winners will receive a Balloon Time 30 Helium Balloon Kit.
To enter this year’s contest, parents can upload their child’s photo at PutAFaceOnFun.com or at Shutterfly.com, a free Web site that that enables consumers to share, print and preserve their photographic memories. Uploaded photographs must be in GIF (.gif) or JPEG (.jpg) format and may not exceed a file size larger than 200 KB. Professional photographs will be disqualified.
Each photograph will be scored by a panel of judges based on the following criteria: smile, age appropriateness, expression of fun and suitability for appearing on packaging. For a list of official rules, visit PutAFaceOnFun.com.
In addition to registering a child, those who enter the contest can also enroll in the Balloon Time Party Club, giving them access to the monthly Celebrations e-newsletter, full of creative party ideas from Balloon Time’s party planning expert, Penny Warner.
I hope to see your picture when I am judging! Let me know if you enter!

I entered my daughter a couple of weeks ago.
Judging will be hard as there are lots of kids with that great expression of fun.
Ooh! That’s awesome that you entered!
