Holiday Guide: Inexpensive Watches

For the holidays, I was wracking my brain trying to come up with gift ideas that you (and I) can use. On the list I try to give options in various price ranges that still have appeal for the giftee. For example, my niece wants a FurReal, but “Santa” can only afford so much and an American Girl was already on the way. So a FurReal Newborn is a way to give her what she wants, for a little less money. But, that’s for kids. What about adult?
Well, one thing that almost everyone can use is a new watch. But without a doubt, they can cost an arm and a leg. But I found a store online that would let you buy a watch for everyone in the family without breaking the bank. And since they come from the same people that brought me my sassy purse from Handbag Heaven and my chic sunglasses from Sunglass Warehouse, I knew we had a winner! So where can you go for affordable watches – InexpensiveWatches.com. There you can find stylish watches for men and women with prices that start at just $15. And just like my sunglasses from Sunglass Warehouse, if they break from some unexplained phenomenom (children), you don’t have to worry too much since you can easily buy a replacement.
Inexpensive Watches has styles for anyone, from more professional choices to fun-loving ones to sports watches. When shopping you can go by style (like Sport, Bling, Classic, Fashion, etc), trend (Bold, Holiday, Oversized, Embellishments, etc), band color (Black, Yellow, Blue, Silver, etc) and band material (Canvas, Leather, Metal, Enamel, etc).
I decided to see what I could find for my grandfather. He is 80+ years, stays home, but works outside a lot. I wanted something durable, sports and easy to read. So I checked out the Men’s Watches and came up with these styles:
Boulder City Men’s Sport ($23.76)
Anthony Classic ($20.36)
Swiss Hunter Neon Sport Watch in either color ($23.76)
I ended up getting my top choice, the Boulder City Men’s Sport. It has a black band and a white dial. What I liked about it was the stretchy, rubber strap which could handle being wet and outside. I also liked the large, bright, round dial. There is an inner dial which allows the wearer to tell time via standard or military time. It also features a buckle clasp.
When it arrived, there are no bells and whistles in packaging, but that is where some of the savings comes in. The watch was save and wrapped in bubble paper. The watch was “off”, so it needs to have a little piece of plastic removed to start it. That means no dead battery, which is great. Overall, I am super pleased with how the watch arrived, just as pictured on the site.
For fun I also looked at the Women’s Watches. When looking I found a chic ladies rhinestone watch in pink for only $13.56! And I also found a cute flower key chain watch for girls, which can be attached to a bag – that way you know the time without needed a wristwatch. I just thought they were cute gift ideas too!

I like the Maria Classic round watch.
I like the Classic Pocket Watch for my husband. He’s been wanting a simple pocketwatch (as opposed to the ones with a fishing scene or a train carved into the cover), and they have gold or silver with very nice but simple detailing.
