I absolutely adore Douglas Cuddle Toys. My little one still loves his Australian Cattle Dog that he received 6 months ago. They have one of the biggest selections of adorable, soft, well-made plush toys for your children. And not just typical stuffed animals, but plush purses and realistic looking animals are BIG in their catalog and on their website. They all make wonderful gifts for birthdays, holidays, get-well gifts and “just because”. But with the holidays so close, one section you’d be super interested in is the Douglas Toys Holiday Selection.
The Holiday Plush Selection has perfect stocking stuffers and toys to get everyone into the spirit of Christmas. I absolutely adore the Cookie Plush, in the shape of a boy (formal or traditional), girl, reindeer and snowman. I’ve seen them for sale at Barnes and Noble, as well as DouglasCuddleToy.com. They retail for only $9.00. They are 8 inches tall, thick and just the right amount of “stuffing”. Not too full, not too scrawny. It has black button eyes, a red button nose and 2 “peppermint” candy buttons. It also has a sewn on mouth. The toy is for 18 months and up. You want to be careful with smaller children and this toy, since even my 20 month old wants to chew those candy buttons off, but they are on very sturdily. My three year old LOVES the plush.
In hindsight, I am realizing my kids really love SNOWMEN. If your kid is a big Frosty fan, consider the cookie snowman plush for their stocking. Other holiday options, in non-cookie form, include Santa, a small red partridge, large red partridge, small pink partridge, large pink partridge, sugar reindeer, peppermint swirl sack with black lab and marshmallow polar bear.
