With the economy the way it is, even Santa is having a hard time making wishes come true for some families. Maybe you’re clipping coupons, scouring sales and wondering if shopping Black Friday is worth the effort, considering the deals that can be made.
I am sure dolls are on many little girls’ wish lists around the world. I know my niece is chattering about a few different brands and her mom’s wallet is groaning at the thought. But the truth is that your daughter’s new best friend doesn’t have to cost a fortune. BFC, Ink has 18 inch dolls, complete with journal and change of clothes, for approximately $39.99. That is less than 1/2 the price of other similar sized dolls.
There are three 18″ BFC, Ink dolls to choose from, each having their own story that you can purchase separately. These books celebrate positive values that we want for the little girls in our lives. The stories do seem more appropriate for tweens, but you can read excerpts from the BFC ink books online to decide which would be the best fit! I think the theme that follows the books is that best friends stick together.
I had a chance to see 18″ Kaitlin up close – there is also an 18″ Calista and Addison. Kaitlin has blonde hair and blue eyes. Her eyes don’t close when you lay her down, but their knees are bendable, which helps with posing. Her hair is about waist level. She is wearing an adorable outfit – tan blouse, brown skirt and yellow jacket with green trim. She accessorizd with boots. Her change ouf otufit is blue “jeans”, white blouse and a tan purse. Very chic! The journal that she comes with has a lock and key.Overall, I find her extremely well-made and just a wonderful addition to any little girl’s doll collection.
Kaitlin and the other 18″ dolls are appropriate for ages 4 and up. You can purchase them at Target, Toys R Us and other mass retailers.

I would choose the Aliesha doll as I think my daughter would relate to Aliesha the most as she has very similar qualities: she loves being the center of attention, she is into acting and rock music, and always lots of fun!
I love that Aliesha isn’t afraid to dress differently, much like my daughter who comes up with the most unique outfits!
My daughter has been begging for this doll for Christmas. Thank you for the chance to win!
