I absolutely love Macy’s. I love their store, their merchandise and their parade. I hope you have a chance to see their parade today! And that you got to see the sneak peek on how they make their floats!
Well, as usual, Macy’s has a lot going on to give back to the community. Right now there is Macy’s BELIEVE campaign which builds on the great success of last year’s holiday effort to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation®. This year, Macy’s is adding to the spirit of “Believe” with a national Santa Tour, an honorary National Believe Day, a “Yes, Virginia” animated special, and a new TV commercial featuring Queen Latifah. Here is a trailer for the animated “Yes, Virginia.”
The nostalgic holiday campaign was inspired by the New York Sun’s famous “Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus” editorial from 1897 and includes letter-writing “Believe Stations” in Macy’s stores across the country. For each letter received, Macy’s will donate $1 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, up to $1 million. (If you haven’t read the letter – check it out here: Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus.)

I can get all my Christmas shopping done in Macy’s, besides, I can walk there from my house.
I believe in Santa because I see it every day by the good in people, the kindness they show for others. I try to make the holiday bright for family and friends by keeping a positive attitude even though things are very tough for most of us.

I take the time to visit with as many of my friends that I can during the holidays.
why I believe in santa- well, there is a special magic and although he may deliver te goods as an adult I want..he puts smile and joy in te kids
At our house we save each year so we have enough money to make an appropriate donation
to our favorite organization, the SPCA. We think animals don’t receive as much charitable
attention as they need. It makes us feel better to do something to make some little lives
more comfortable.
Thank you for the contest. Happy Thanksgiving.
I believe in Santa because I believe in angels and Santa is an angel of a man!
I believe in Santa because just the thought of him makes me smile and every year, I feel his magic in my home.
I try to remind everyone in my family that christmas is not all about the gifts.

I believe in Santa because it’s not just that he brings toys to good girls and boys, it’s the spirit of him that keeps his memory alive. Thinking of him brings joy and happiness to the Christmas season.
I am having a very serious health problem. Two of my friends are in deep financial trouble and both may lose their homes as well as their businesses. Another couple we know could be homeless in a few months. This is such a tough time. The best thing we can do is to be there for each other, be supportive, let our friends vent or cry on our shoulders. I know things will be better in the future and we need to be positive.
I do not believe in Santa but like to keep the spirit alive for my kids. Its a fun time of year for all

This year for Christmas, instead of exchanging gifts with my brother and his wife we all decided to choose names from our local Angels program run by the Salvation Army. The money we normally would have spent on presents for each other will instead be used to buy presents for children who otherwise might not have anything under the tree.
Just seeing the sparkle in my kids’ eyes makes me believe in Santa. Makes it really easy.
i contribute by donating to tons of pet organizations

I contribute to the holiday spirit by dressing in red and green as often as I can.
I voted on the Macy’s contest for Becky.
My mom and I like to choose a child from the Angel Tree at her church and really do our best to make it a great Christmast for the child.
I believe in Santa because every Christmas morning all the milk and cookies are gone.
I try to contribute to the holiday spirit with my family by helping with collecting toys through our local boy scouts to be donated to local children. My kids learn so much about giving too, by helping me organize everything. Thanks so much.
When I was a child, Santa decorated our tree the on Christmas Eve. When we went to bed that night, it was just a plain tree, and when we woke up in the morning, it was beautifully decorated and we all had our pile of gifts. That is one of my fondest memories of Christmas. I still get a real tree and refuse to get a fake one; I love, love, love the smell of my real Balsam Fir. My little boy will be two this Christmas and I think next year will be when he really starts to understand it all. I think Santa will decorate our tree on Christmas Eve, too.

I believe in Santa because even through the hard times, or having a tough time making it through the holidays, he always seems to deliver. Santa never fails to bring out the good in people through Christmas, no matter what. Thanks for the giveaway.

Santa (or father christmas as my english husband calls him) is alive with the energy of all the little boys and girls who will him to be. Whether he is a physical being is a matter of debate but I know he is alive and well.

I work with adults with autism…. my career is service oriented… so I feel like I’m in a giving, holiday spirit year round.

I am contributing to the holiday season by baking cookies for the target pharmacists…I know you are thinking, why the target pharmacists. I have a severely disabled child and I am at target about once a week for prescriptions. They know me on a first name basis and they are always getting the meds filled as quickly as possible. I want them to know that their small acts of kindness have made my year much easier.
When I stop believing in Santa, I stop receiving gifts.
I contribute to the holiday spirit with family and friends because I am the one to always try and forget any fighting or past problems people in my family may have had and just get together because we love eachother!
