Glade Candles Makes Holiday Scents

gladeSoon a lot of us will be hustling and bustling to get our houses ready for the holidays and :gasp: … guests. When we have people coming over, we start worrying about the small details. Dust bunnies under the couch? Clean ovens? Dust on the fan blades? Chances are that our guests won’t be noticing much, with heartfelt hellos, gift exchanges, full bellies and a little bit of eggnog. But, one way that I like to spiff up and prepare is to have a great scent throughout the house.

Glades just released a Holiday Collection, which includes the spicy, sweet Bayberry Spice. These new candles complement any holiday decor, pacakged in refillable scented oil candle tins. The tin I received was a light green with little illustrations of gift packages on it.

The Glade Scented Oil Candles used a warming plate to quickly melt the candle into a large pool of scented oil. Once the oil is gone, the candle safely goes out without leaving a mess. The oil candle attaches safely to a magnetic center in the middle of the tin. These candles last for 2 – 3 hours.

You’ll find these candles from now until December 2009. You can find it in my favorite store – TARGET! It should cost approximately $3.49.

glade2Tips for Glade Holiday Candles

  • Subtly set the mood: When entertaining, set a scented candle in the foyer o welcome guests with a unique fragrance and create a friendly first impression. You can personalize each room with a different scent.
  • Lower the lights: Dim lighting creates an intimate atmosphere for holiday gatherings. Turn lights low and use candles to create the desired effect. Line candles along the mantelpiece to achieve this look effortlessly.
  • Trim the table: Make fragrances your centerpiece, along with materials you already have on hand. Find a theme that matches your desired scent – candy, fruit, greenery or pinecones – and fill vases with related items. To add holiday cheer, incorporate taller vases with bright ornaments, gingerbread cookies or peppermint sticks.
  • Ready the guest rooms: Show guests you care about their comfort preparing the guest bathrooms and bedrooms ahead of time. Make them welcoming with a candle from the Glade Candles Holiday Collection. Leave a set of towels and scented bath towels in the bathroom. Leave blankets, candies, chocolates and flowers in the bedroom.

BUZZWORTHY: Each Limited Edition fragrance purchase earns you one free holiday music download. Collect each Limited Edition fragrance for the best selection.
