Glade Holiday Basket – Includes Polar Express!

Recently I buzzed about the new Glade Holiday Collection, reviewed the Bayberry Scented Oil Tin and offered some Holiday Glade Candle Tips! Well, now I am excited to take this Holiday Buzz one step further!

First off, Glade sent two more oil candles from their Holiday Collection for me to review. One was another scented oil candle in a decorative tin. This time it was Apple Cinnamon! Oh-My-Goodness! It was just such a sweet smell! You can definitely make out a great, realistic apple smell accented by the cinnamon! I think I prefer it to the Bayberry, but I think it depends on your personal preference. I love “food-like” candles. You know, Vanilla, Cookies, Etc. So Apple Cinnamon was a perfect choice. The tin is very decorative, mostly red with silver swirls and some flowers on it. This tin is Limited Edition so if you like the scent and style, you want to grab as many as you can!

The other candle that I received was the green Bayberry Spice. But this time it was in a refillable glass holder. So, when this oil candle runs out (approximately 2 – 3 hours) you can simply add another oil candle. To remove the old candle, remove and discard the metal clip once it is cool, clean the holder and insert the new one.

What’s neat about Glade Scented Oil Candles is their metal bottom, which allows it to attach securely to the candle base, limiting waxy spills if you transfer a candle from one area to another.  Plus this unique warming plate quickly melts the candle into a large pool of scented oil, so more fragrance is released into the air. Once the oil is gone, the candle safely goes out with leaving a mess! Always be sure to place the holder on a flat, heat-resistant surface away from drafts and flammable material.

There are currently 6 scents in the holiday collection, available in oil tins, oil glass holders, glass candles, plug-ins, and sprays. The six scents include Bayberry, Apple Cinnamon, Homemade Gingerbread, Hollyberry Wreath, Peppermint Crush and French Vanilla. I would like to say that the Hollyberry Wreath is an excellent choice if you have a faux tree this year, but still want that “Christmas Tree” smell! I just gave my mom one of those candles, since this is her first year with a faux tree. She was very excited!
