Holiday Shopping Made Easy with Flit.com

I admit, I am done with my holiday shopping. But before you throw glass ornaments at me, those of you who have been waiting to shop might have caught the better deal. See, I was just introduced to a site called Flit.com. Flit.com is a new online shopping tool that supports the way people shop “naturally” – by visiting their favorite stores. Unlike other search or comparison shopping engines that produce product listings from various vendors, with Flit.com you can spend time inside different retailers’ sites, retaining the personality and using the customized search capabilities of each store. But when you leave the store, Flit.com still knows what you are looking for.
My favorite part of Flit, as you move from store to store, is that it shows a search trail so you have a visual track of the stores you’ve looked in and lets you return directly to purchase the item with the best price.
Flit.com lets you search though 275 leading retail brands spanning 30-plus popular categories including fashion, home goods, jewelry, electronics, sports and gourmet foods. The Flit.com team adds stores daily based on user requests. Must-have stores like Target, Toys R Us and Walmart are included in their search.
My second favorite thing about Flit.com is that you only need to enter a search just once. Once Flit knows what you are looking for, it will populate that search into all the stores until you are ready to look for something new.
One thing I learned about Flit was that it is a great tool to do price matches, since you can find items so quickly at all of the stores. For example, we bought my son a Mustang Power Wheel for his birthday. I did a search for it and saw it $60 cheaper at a few sites. You can bet my bottom dollar that tomorrow I am going to get the price matched at Walmart!
So if you want to avoid busy stores and looking endlessly for the perfect (and best priced) gift online, check out Flit.com – it’s like having your own virtual personal shopper!
