My Natural Toy: Good Earth Fairy

Nine months ago I had a chance to give my son an all natural toy from Miyim. It was an adorable bunny, with long legs and floppy ears. He still has it – in great condition and very loved. It reminds me a little of a Velveteen Rabbit, it has such a classic appearance. Well, Miyim is at it again. They have recently released their fall collection, which included My Natural Good Earth Fairies.

The Good Earth Fairy is my favorite piece of the Fall Collection, since it is so unique. Without a doubt, I know plenty of little girls who would love this. She is a 12″ ragdoll fairy, with sunflower blonde, yarn hair, embroidered eyes and mouth and subtle green wings that resemble leaves coming from her back.  I especially love her ears, which are folded and pointy, like elf ears. She is appropriate for all ages, so she can become a lovey early on for a special girl. Best yet, she is all-natural.

One detail that is most striking is her color. Although she is not vibrant, she looks exactly like how a fairy should look – blending in with her environment with subtle shades of yellows, rose and green. It’s a PureWaterWash that helps create these unique colors, since the fabric for the Good Earth Fairy is dyed using plants and minerals. it also gives each My Natural Toy a unique appearance since part of the process is done by hand.

Like all Miyim products, this My Natural Doll is organic and  made with non-toxic, all natural cotton. There is no harmful bleaches or chemicals used during the making of these charming dolls. And the dye-process has a low-eco impact. They are packaged in a brown box with pink and green accents. She is held in place with a earth-toned ribbon.

Without a doubt, Good Earth Fairies have a lot of charm and magic to them. For all frunchy (fresh and crunchy) mamas who want our daughters, nieces, granddaughters, goddaughters to cherish the environment, the Good Earth Fairy is a great choice.
