Sick Day Guidelines & Cold & Flu Tracker

Not sure if you should keep your child home from school? Print out the sick day guidelines from Triaminic and keep it in your medicine cabinet! I taped it on my cabinet door for at-a-glance information. Pretty much, Triaminic and NASN.org suggest keeping your child home if:

  • They have a fever of 100.4 or higher.
  • They have been vomiting
  • Have symptoms that will keep them from participating in school, such as:
  1. Excessive Tiredness or Lack of Appetite
  2. Excessive Coughing or Sneezing
  3. Headache, Body Aches, Ear Aches
  4. Sore Throat

You can also keep track of cold & flu symptom trends by state with the Cold & Flu Tracker. Triaminic provided this cold & flu tracker, they are a leader in children’s over-the-counter cold and flu symptom medication.

This is solely the opinion of the Mom Buzz. Other people may have different experiences with the product. And don’t forget to enter my other hot contests so you can win and try buzzworthy products! The Mom Buzz was not compensated for this buzz. This information was provided to the Mom Buzz as press.
