Imagine this. It’s February 12th or 13th and you are on a Valentine’s Date with your husband. Why not the 14th? Well, that is a Sunday and you couldn’t find a babysitter for Sunday. My REALITY date is pretty simple…cook out some steaks and shrimp (not really that possible in the Midwest right now) and a little cuddle time with a good movie that does NOT involve a war or a shoot up! AND NO interruptions with the dog needing to go out, the phone ringing, or the kids yelling MMMMmmmOOOOOmmmm!!
My DREAM Valentines date would be to spend a night in a northern cabin with a toasty fireplace and bear rug (fake bear is totally ok…cuz we are going for atmosphere here!), soft music and Sweet cheap champagne and a totally AMAZING bath. Chinese ordered in and NO kids invited! A winter’s walk in the crunchy snow by moonlight…Oh…to dream…:)
