I love anything custom. Custom tees, custom earbuds, personalized jewelry – it all rocks. So when Tukaiz told me they had custom calendars, my ears perked up! I was thinking pictures of the family on every month – but that idea is too hackneyed for this innovative group. Instead, you can see your name in lights on this calendar … or on a baseball team, books, fridge magnets and more. It is so cool, since every image looks like a photo that could be taken anywhere .. but when you really pay attention, you see the name of your choosing inconspicuously added to the image, like it really belongs there.
I had a calendar done up with my dad in mind. There were two custom calendar sizes to choose from – a desk calendar or wall calendar. There were also two photo assortments to choose from. I chose the one with the baseball team, which was just ubercool to see my dad’s first name on the back of one player’s shirt and his last name on another player’s shirt. Other images include seeing his name on the back of a car, pizza, playing cards, fireworks and a leaf. The calendar is spiral bound, has a pre-punched hole for hanging and measures 11 x17 inches. The paper quality is awesome. Unlike other calendars, there is no worry that the hanging hook will pierce through the page over time. To order your calendar, pick your calendar and type in your name choice. The wall calendar is $19.99 and the desk calendar is $14.99.
