Ahhh, with the Christmas Holidays behind me I thought my shopping was done. But nope! It seems like every month there is some new occasion to shop for or celebrate. And that’s actually great news!
For one, I am busy shopping for my best friend who is pregnant with her second child… first son. Already I’ve bought party favors for her baby shower and have a couple of center pieces. (It’s okay to have more than one centerpiece, right? OR does that defeat the purpose?) But I am still on the lookout for more shopping deals! Baby clothes, gear, must-haves for the nursery and toys. Anything that her and her little one will love!
Plus, we are redoing parts of our kitchen in the next few months. Besides a new stove, we are also going to redo my countertops and my husband wants a new dishwasher. I don’t blame him! Our dishwasher is as pathetic as our stove! But we definitely have to compare shopping prices before we commit to anything.
Plus, Valentine’s is right around the corner, along with my wedding anniversary – 5 years married! For Valentine’s, I plan to keep it simple and made a reservation for my husband and myself at a local restaurant. Rrrromantic! And for our anniversary we are going to Disney World, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios – all in one day. We are going to hit up all the rides that we can’t go on with the kids! Hey … we go every month with the boys. It doesn’t hurt to let “mommy and daddy” be a kid again – that’s part of the magic of Disney!

Congrats on your anniversary!! I got engaged on Christmas day, so that’s one of the events I’m celebrating. And, my sister is expecting her 2nd child, so I’m going to be an aunt again. The baby is due in July.
Birthday Galore coming up. We have 3 birthdays in february, one in march, davis in april along with Easter. I have a wedding coming up that I have to be in and we have finally decided to get chickens. Yep, you read it correctly. We have debated it for about 3 years and finally decided to just do it. Davis eats eggs daily and I would rather him have them fresh from our yard. I told DH that maybe we need to get a cow and have Davis go milk it in order to get his own milk. They may break his 6-7 cups a day milk habit. HA! So we are currently working on getting the chicken house/lot finished for them so that we can get them come Spring.
LOL! Chickens! And cows? How about some sheep too! LOL! Make your own Uggs? Tee*hee. You know I love you girl.
It’s so easy to feel overwhelmed with every reason to celebrate … all the birthdays. I am ready to stop giving to my BILs. Teehee. They still havent’ even made time to get their Christmas Gifts. Too busy with girlfriends and… themselves!
LOL..actually we do have a goat and he acts like a dog. Nah I am joking with the cows. FIL has cows and they live just across the road from us. Although Davis wants a pig, He has wanted one since Spring last year. We went to a 4-H livestock thing where the kids get to raise animals. They had pigs and he took up with this super fat black pig. Ryan refuses to put a pig at the house but said for Davis he may consider putting it over at his dads barn. LOL
Farmer Sam! Milk the goat. LOL. If it’s a girl. LOL.
Nope..not a girl so I don’t think I would want to milk him. LOL
