Omaka Rocka Rocks Aquatica in 2010

An all-new waterslide thrill ride, unlike anything in Orlando, is opening this spring at Aquatica! It is said to be completely unique, with high-speed tubes and half-pipe funnels that’ll have riders splashing and sliding frontward and backward and climbing the walls. Riders will be speeding down flumes into massive funnels, sliding high up one side and then the other, rocking back and forth, feeling a sensation of near weightlessness. When they come  out of the funnel, they’ll skim into a drenching splashdown and then find themselves wanting to do it all over again.

Pretty much, Omaka Rocka is a waterslide taste of half-pipe, near-vertical thrills previously experienced only by daring skateboarders and snowboarders. Sounds heart-pounding! It will be the first waterslide of its kind in the world, so be prepared! Omaka Rocka opens this spring.

I love waterparks and this waterslide sounds AWESOME! Wish we lived in or closer to Florida.

4 of my grandkids live in Orlando and 5 live just a 2 hour drive from there. I wasn’t aware of this coming to Orlando…some of my grandkids would just love it!

Now that’s my kind of park! I have family in Daytona…might just have to go visit them when this opens ;) I hope they have some friendly little kid slides too!

Wow, gotta bring my boys there. They would be so happy. We have nothing like that in these parts. Thanks for the review.
