SeaPak Success

My boys are SO PICKY. In fact, we have an Au Pair visiting from Holland right now (not my Au Pair, just a new friend staying at my parent’s house before she goes back home) and even she said they don’t really eat. She was SHOCKED. So it was a huge success when I made a meal that I was sure the boys wouldn’t even try … and they GOBBLED IT UP!

What I did was buy some breaded popcorn shrimp, SeaPak brand. I cooked it in the oven, as per their written directions. Then on the stove top I melted some garlic in butter. When the shrimp were done cooking, I quickly sauteed them in the butter/garlic concoction and served it to everyone with some side dishes. I sit down and eat and when I look at the boys, I realize they have no shrimp. I asked my husband what happened – he said they ate it. Jaw dropping! I admit it was yummy, but even the boys thought it was GREAT! It’s definitely a product I’ll reach for again! This was my first SeaPak Shrimp experience and it was GREAT.

That was just my spur of the moment recipe, but you can check out some delicious shrimp recipes at the SeaPak site. There are ideas for meals, appetizers, grill ideas and more!

Seafood is a huge part of my diet already, but it’s great that I found a way to get my kids to eat it. I found the SeaPak shrimp and seafood products in the freezer section of my grocery store. Some of the other items from SeaPak that I have my eye on are the Butterfly Shrimp. They have Jumbo Sized which looks so delicious. SeaPak also sells Shrimp Scampi and Specialty Shrimp, like Tempura and Coconut. Mmmm….

This is solely the opinion of the Mom Buzz. Other people may have different experiences with the product. And don’t forget to enter my other hot contests so you can win and try buzzworthy products! The Mom Buzz received a $5 coupon for a $7 product to try SeaPak.
