Organic Insecticide: Environmentally Safe! Win!

I think we have an ant problem!

I am so thankful for winter in Florida, because it kills off all the bugs that live in the area. Namely roaches and fleas. To keep my house pest-free, since those buggers love to come in when it rains, I spray A LOT of poison. But that also means my kids and dogs are stepping in the same insecticides and pesticides that is meant for the bugs. It’s like a lose-lose situation! Either I have bugs coming inside, or I have my loved ones equally doused with pesticide. So I was thrilled to discover EcoSmarts Natural Insecticides a few months ago.

Since then, EcoSmart has given me the chance to try the Home Pest Control for indoor and outdoor use. I have been waiting to try this on a live bug – is that cruel? But, it’s winter! So no buggers have shown their faces. (I am thankful for that!) But then again, EcoSmart Home Pest Control kills on contact … and repels. So I’ve sprayed it across every doorway and window to make sure my house stays that way. The scent is not overpowering … kinda fresh and minty. It is not made with synthetic toxins or harmful residue. It is effective and is said to be safe to use around children and pets – so that’s a huge bonus!

The Home Pest Control is good for inside or outside use. It will kill and repel my two main enemies, roaches and fleas, along with ants, beetles, centipedes, crickets, earwigs, millipedes, pantry pests, pillbugs, silverfish, spiders, sowbugs, ticks and other creepy crawlies. (Honestly, I have nothing against pillbugs, though.)

The active ingredients are 2-Phenethyl Propionate, Clove il, Rosemary Oil, Peppermint Oil and Thyme Oil. It is proudly made in the USA! I just wish my local store carried it to make it easier to buy. But you can get it online at

safe_home_bundleEcoSmart also has the following products:
