Recently I buzzed about Macy’s supporting the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women cause. Go read the post, because there are great ways to save (and win BIG) with Macy’s!
Now, what’s cool is I also got firsthand scoop about Go Red for Women direct from the American Heart Association’s. They’ve been keeping track of my Mom Buff articles and think it’s great that the Mom Buzz is a place for moms to go for fitness motivation and a healthier lifestyle, despite our busy schedules. So supporting National Wear Red Day on February 5th, 2010 (today) is a natural fit!
I know sometimes it is hard being a busy mom and also finding the time to make sure our health is a priority. But too many women die each year because they are unaware that heart disease is our No. 1 killer. Ways to support National Wear Red Day:

The more thoughtfully you protect your heart, starting as early as your 20s, the less likely you’ll face the life-threatening challenges posed by cardiovascular disease. No matter what your age or where you feel you are in your life, the best time to take action and get healthy is always right now
