Go Red For Women & WIN

Recently I buzzed about Macy’s supporting the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women cause. Go read the post, because there are great ways to save (and win BIG) with Macy’s!

Now, what’s cool is I also got firsthand scoop about Go Red for Women direct from the American Heart Association’s. They’ve been keeping track of my Mom Buff articles and think it’s great that the Mom Buzz is a place for moms to go for fitness motivation and a healthier lifestyle, despite our busy schedules. So supporting National Wear Red Day on February 5th, 2010 (today) is a natural fit!

I know sometimes it is hard being a busy mom and also finding the time to make sure our health is a priority. But too many women die each year because they are unaware that heart disease is our No. 1 killer. But we can make a statement, and look fabulous while doing it, by joining thousands of other women, TV personalities, companies and even national landmarks who participate in National Wear Red Day to raise awareness.

Ways to support National Wear Red Day:

  • Talk about the campaign on Twitter, Facebook or your website/blog – and share the link to GoRedForWomen.org
  • Posting a photo of yourself wearing red on TwitPic, Facebook or your website/blog. Maybe even change your avatar for the day or week!
  • Wear Red on February 5th!
  • Fan Go Red on Facebook!
  • Sign up at Go Red for Women and Get a Free Dress Pin!
