YooHoo & Friends: Perfect for Valentines & Easter!

Months ago my sons received two YooHoos, which my sons absolutely loved. They were already familiar with the toys, since they are EVERYWHERE. The first time we spotted them, we were on vacation at the beach and one of those stores by the water had them. The boys wanted them so badly, but at that time we were on a mission to purchase my husband a bathing suit that fits. Then we spotted them again, this time closer to home at the bookstore. Finally, my niece and nephew brought some over to the house to play with. They were oh-so soft, had obnoxiously huge eyes and made the silliest little noises. So, I was thrilled when my sons each got one last September.

These YooHoos are the 8″ Golden Lion Tamarin and an original YooHoo with a purple tail. Just so you know, their long tails add another ELEVEN INCHES to their size.  YooHoos can range in size from 5″ to 10″ – not counting the insanely long tail. They range in price from $7 to $14. Now, we were VERY sad when our puppy ran off with the Golden Lion Tamarin, who was one of our favorites. So I was so happy when Aurora wanted the Mom Buzz to help spread the word about YooHoos and they sent the 5″ Barbary Lion for review. For a little lion, he has a lot of attitude as he roars from beneath that fluffy mane! He is superbly made, as long as we keep him from the dog. He is smaller, obviously, than the 8″ ones and his tail has less length, but my 2 year old absolutely adores him.

There are a lot of YooHoo & Friends to choose from. Trying to choose a favorite? Well some of mine include the Platypus, Red Fox, and Capuchin. But there are more than TWENTY OTHERS to choose from! For Valentines, consider the pink beaver, sugar glider or the 10″ Pink-Tailed YooHoo with a heart on his chest. This YooHoo makes a smooch sound when you squeeze her belly. And if you have Easter on the brain, the Springtime YooHoos and Easter YooHoos will be cute in the basket.

And here is something this ol’ mom learned. YooHoo & Friends life in a virtual world featuring characters based on real animals in their natural habitat, some of which are endangered species. Children can learn about the animals through an interactive website (www.yoohoofriends.com) that features fun games and some animations. I bet a lot of little kids will love it! And I naively thought they were just cute little toys. :smile:
