The book that came with our kit was A Winning Dream by Andrew Wolfendon and illustrated by Berne Williams. It is a sweet story about Brady the Bear who wants to become an “everday hero”. And he does just that on the snowy slopes during a skiing race! It’s very touching and we love the full-color graphics.
The 13″ bear that came with my kit was a light, sandy color (honey) with fuzzy fur. He had plastic brown eyes and a sewn on nose. Other color options include Powder Blue, Midnight Blue, Powder Pink, Coffee and Brown. Finding the Bear & Book Sets can be a little difficult on the site. You actually need to go to the Store Finder and type in your zip code. Then it will bring up the Bear Box options.
If you go direct to the Store Finder, at the time of the review it does not bring up the Bear & Book Set options.
