Dove Men + Care: Win a backyard Makeover

When I first met my husband, he was more of a bar soap and wash cloth kind of guy. Eventually I turned him over to loofahs and liquid body soap. I always found it left less soap scum, making it easier to clean the bathroom. But back then the soap scents and loofahs were all kind of feminine. Eventually some guy companies realized men were moving away from slippery bar soap to liquid body soap … and they started making more manly scents to go with it. I loved these new “cologne-like” scents and would buy a lot of them for my husband to try. Finally, within the past year I started seeing more “manly” loofahs. OUR TEST:

We received the body bar, body wash and loofah (aka Shower Tool) to try out. My husband loved the Shower Tool compared to the other one we own, which I think came from Axe. He liked the scrubber side on it better, which was not as rough as the one on the Axe shower tool.

He also liked the scent of the new body wash, which was not as strong or cologne-like as other men scents. The body wash created a lot of suds and left a nice scent when he was done, in my opinion.

The bar soap seemed small to us, but it might have been a sample size. We also haven’t used bar soap in FOREVER. But the scent was nice. But bar soap is so hard to get a grip on. And it’s nicer to use the Shower Tool/ Loofah with the Body Wash as compared to bar soap.

Overall, my husband is sold on the Shower Tool and we would buy the Body Wash again. So it’s cool that there is a $1.00 off coupon on the Dove Men + Care site right now.
