Pink Madras Girl Placemat
I have gone few a lot of placemats with my boys. Those foam-like ones that you can buy at Target with fun characters on them… they just manage to disintegrate over time with the boys spilling and lots of washing. Others are bright, colorful and cheerful – made up of plaids, animal motif, stripes, florals or toile. When you order your 12 x 18″ placemat, one side will have an image and other side will be a complementing design. So I was surprised when one of the placemats I requested was double sided, with my son’s name on both sides. The other placemat only had a design on the other side. So I would say the double sided one was a bonus and not common.

When you order your placemat you can choose font, font color, number of lines and alignment, so it’s truly a personalized gift.
The placemat is thin, not foam. It makes me think that it is a quality print job on high-end paper and then laminated. You will have an inch around the entire placemat of this thick, sturdy, clear lamination. I think in the end this will help it withhold the messes and repeated cleanings, unlike foam placemats. It’s easy to wipe clean and each boy loves his individual pirate-themed placemat.
