So the other day I was leafing through a catalog from My Vintage Baby and fell in love with the styles for boys and girls. They have clothes for babies, toddlers, preschoolers and young children. Sizes go from 0 to 14 – and there are even some women’s options!
First off, I have two boys. Finding unique, stylish clothes that represent their wild personality is hard. I have a few favorite tees and shorts that I almost always put them in, because the other options don’t scream “style”. But My Vintage Baby has styles for boys that are tough, yet … dare I say… cute? A red polo embellished with an intricate crossbone design. A navy polo with a gold crown. Camo cargo shorts. Skull and crossbone shorts. And my favorite – a light tan button down shirt with a rebel patch on one sleeve, star on the other sleeve, crossbones on the front left chest and “Rock King” on the back. It is so cool!
I received that Rock King Shirt with matching striped shorts in 4T for my son. I often say that my 4 year old is pretty petite, but the size 4 fit him perfectly. And he LOVED it. That’s what is really amazing - how many 4-year old boys say “Wow! Cool!” and immediately put on clothes straight from a box. My child did just that – although he put on the shorts backwards. The clothes are rockin’ and fun – and very comfortable. The elastic waist on the shorts have enough stretch, plus they allow him to use the bathroom with no help from me. That’s a plus as he starts school. You can see how adorable he is in the photo to the right.
This is part of the “J” collection, which is sure to be dad-approved. And mom, too! When we went out to Chik-Fil-A to meet up with some friends, a woman stopped me to ask me where we got his shirt from. I told her all about My Vintage Baby … their website and their trunk shows!
My next purchase from My Vintage Baby? I am eying both the Skull & Crossbone Button Front Shirt and that Red Embellished Polo I mentioned before. Plus, the Skull & Crossbone Shorts really are too cute. How am I going to get my hands on these items?

My 5-year old niece is always fashion-forward, getting a lot of compliments on her unique boutique style. A great example is pictured on the right – the green capris with the floral pattern and ruffled hem. So like I said, my sister loved the collection so much that she wants to do a trunk show! Plus, she is even considering becoming a direct representative herself! She feels the style will sell it easily, especially with her daughter as a model.
