Design Your Own Tee @Fibers – #win

Okay, so ever time a new Twilight movie comes out – I like to order a custom tee that I create to wear to the movie. Overboard? Maybe, but it’s just part of the fun. And it’s so easy to do, especially at Fibers.com.
I like the ordering process at Fibers.com. If you want something personalized by YOU, then:
1. Choose Create
2. Then choose a Garment. You can choose tees, tank tops, pants, shorts, intimates, baby clothes, hoodies and more. You can select a Fiber preference, although everything came up Cotton for me – which was cool. You can narrow it down to organic only with a check box on the bottom. You can even narrow it by brand. I saw a lot of familiar brands, like Bella and American Apparel.Of course, you have total control of color and size, as well.

3. Once you know what garment you are designing, the fun really begins. Start designing! You can use saved templates from your own account, although if you are just beginning you will need to customize a template. Simply choose a provided template to start from, change up text, add images, modify type, upload your own images, add an effect to your choice if you want … the possibilities are crazy!
4. When you are done, save your design and add it to the cart.
I chose a Woman’s Tank Top in Army Green. I ordered Medium, which was VERY FITTED – but I loved it. Here is how I modified it using Fiber options. I chose the supplied template which said “Property of (XXL) Terrance”. I changed the text to say “Protected by (pawprint image) Werewolves”. I changed the font from Athletic/Base Runner to Athletic/MC Letter Sweater. I got the Pawprint image from their supplied images, not having to upload one of my own. And I was done. I could change the colors of the fonts and image – I chose to keep the outline of my font black but changed the pawprint to a color that matched the Army Green more. It took mere minutes to get what I wanted. And if my sister wants one too, she loves custom tees, I can get her one just by going back to my account and ordering her size. Although, it would be easy to change the shirt to a different color for her!
The prices for their custom t-shirts are great, considering they are customized. The tank I ordered cost around $20. But if you don’t have the mere minutes it takes to customize a shirt from scratch, there are some that you can just pop a name in – like their I Heart Shirts and others that you can order just as-is – like their way-cool vintage t-shirts.
This is definitely a website I will bookmark for future custom tees! And it’s awesome that they are totally up on the social networks I am so I can like them on Facebook and follow them on Twitter.
