We all spend a lot more time outside during the summer – mowing the lawn, entertaining, gardening, playing and grillling. Men LOVE to grill! And now they can get even more inspired with their meat thanks to Lawry’s newest marinades that infuse these meals with exotic flavors!
The Mom Buzz had a chance to try the Szechuan Sweet & Sour BBQ Marinade and Tuscan Sun-Dried Tomato Marinade. We used the Szechuan Sweet & Sour BBQ Marinade to grill some chicken. It was just DELICIOUS. The family devoured the meal, thanks to the sweet and sour flavor.
The Tuscan Sun-Dried Tomato Marinade I actually saved for cooking some meat on the stove top. The minute my husband came home he commented on how good the meal smelled – and he loved the taste. The Tuscan Sun-Dried Tomato Marinade features extra virgin olive oil, sun-dried tomatoes, sweet red bell peppers and the perfect blend of herbs.
Whether grilling or cooking in the kitchen, these new marinades definitely fuel the flames of flavor! Turn up the flavor with Szechuan Sweet & Sour BBQ Marinade and Tuscan Sun-Dried Tomato Marinade and take your family’s dinner to the next level.

Spray the grates with cooking spray or olive oil to keep tricky food from sticking!
My grilling tip is to let the meat rest when you finish grilling it. Otherwise, you will lose all your juices when you cut into it.

My best tip is to marinate the meats for 24 hours – it makes it even more flavorful.

My best grilling advice? Get a chimney starter for your charcoal and never buy the nasty lighter fluid ever again. Lighter fluid leaves a bad aftertaste and it won’t go away no matter how long the charcoal burns before putting the food on.

Unless cordially invited, one chef at a time working the grill! You can’t avoid those ‘lawnchair pros’ giving advice, but a rotisserie of cooks will result in a roulette of results!

Make sure you heat up the grill before you put your meat on it. If not you can end up drying it out.

Add the seasonings early so they can be absorbed by the food.
Marinades are a griller’s best friend! Thanks!
Make sure that you soak your skewers before add your meat or vegetables. The skewers will not burn.
My best grilling tip is to make sure you have enough propane before you begin. I hate running out of propane before the meat is cooked.
Foil packets- I don’t like messes lol

Pay as much attention to the grill as you do to the beer.

I love throwing veggies in foil and just throwing them on the grill. It’s hard to mess it up and it’s tasty!
Marinades are a great way to mix things up!
Thanks

Make sure you preheat your grill.
My grilling tip is to apply the barbecue sauce to meat right after you take it off the grill instead of adding while on the grill. This way the meat tastes juicier and less dry.

Apply oil to the grill before adding food so that it doesn’t stick.
Use a grill basket for veggies like asparagus and zucchini, easier to turn all at once than one at a time.
