The other day I was buzzing about some awesome, deep-red Perfect Wear Lip Gloss and Lash-Lengthening Mascara from Avon – really impactful make-up. But right now I wanted to buzz about something a little low-key – everyday make-up for mom. Avon has a professional multicrayon from the Jillian Dempsey collection which is just awesome. The reason being that it can act as eyeshadow, blush and lipstick all from one pencil.
There are two ends to this professional make-up “crayon”. One side handles your eyes while the other side acts as the blush and lipstick. So there is no need to have a zillion things in your diaper bag or tote to apply before you step out of the car to do some errands or pick the kids up. Instead you grab the pencil, brighten your eyes, add some rose to your cheeks and color your lips. Before you know it you go from frazzled to a chic mom!
Truthfully, Avon calls it a professional multi-pencil – but to me that means hard and brittle. This is more like a crayon, going on soft and creamy. There are three combos to choose from – raspberry radiance, sugar plum and twice the spice. I got Sugar Plum – which is a light color for the eyes and a deeper rose color for the lips/cheeks. When you look at the swatches on the Avon site, the color on the right of the swatch is for the eyes – left is for the lips, just in case you were wondering.
I really like the Sugar Plum/ Rose BonBon combo because the colors really work for any mom. The Sugar Plum for the eyes makes the dark circles go away, giving you a brighter appearance, sans a Starbucks. It really give you a more youthful appearance. And the Rose BonBon gives your cheeks the perfect amount of color and your lips a plumper appearance. I love it.
So I know a lot of moms walk out that door without any make-up – and then they are afraid to leave the car. But if you keep the Jillian Dempsey Multi-Crayon… I mean, Multi-Pencil in your purse, you’ll be ready for anything!

I’ll have to look in my AVON book for that.
oh that is perfect for me! I don’t wear makeup but this sounds so stinkin’ simple
Thanks Erin!!
