San Lori Candles and Gift Ideas #win

Candles are such a great go-to gift idea for friends and family. If I can’t think of ANYTHING ELSE, I resort to candles. And I know they are well-received, because everyone always has them lit when I go to their houses … and you can tell the wick and wax are low on their decorative candles as their house smells inviting like cookies, patchouli, vanilla and other great options.

San Lori has a GREAT candle selection for gift giving, as well as other ideas too – like personalized stationary, coasters, invitations, announcements, cards and more. But I have to buzz about the candles.

One of the styles is all chic and sassy – for that friend that likes leopard print and martinis. It has a cute, feathery top on the box and stands out in bright pink. The candle itself is off-white and in a glass jar. This is the Hot Chicks series.

For your contemporary/ sophisticated friend, there is the mod Cafe au Lait series. It arrives in a regular cardboard box, with the glass candle inside decorated with a simple black bow. For both the Hot Chicks and Cafe Au Lait candles, an 8 ounce candle in a glass holder is $15.

Both series have different looks, but the same scents … using different names. Did you get that? I got to try two of the scents – and they are HEAVENLY. Here are the names of the scents and what they smell like.

Hot Chicks La Vie Gypsy/ Cafe au Lait Bohemian: I received both candles – allowing me to see how the same scent comes in two different styles. These candles smell like sandalwood and patchouli. It’s a scent that most people will love – like me, my sister-in-law and my mother-in-law. It’s just as wonderful in a beach house as a small townhouse.

Hot Chicks Sea and be Seen/ Cafe Au Lait Newport: I received the Cafe Au Lait version of this candle, which is an ocean breeze and white ginger scent. It smells like the beach, gentle and relaxing.

Hot Chicks Expresso Yourself/ Cafe Au Lait Loft: This candle is perfect for any coffee lover, with the scent of cappuccino along with the sweet infusion of Hazelnut. This candle has the full-bodied aroma of your favorite coffee house.

Hot Chicks Olive My Love/ Cafe Au Lait Tuscany: This candle offers a clean, fresh lights scent of olive, sage and thyme. Perfect for in the kitchen to cover any burned dinners in the microwave.

Hot Chicks French Kiss/ Cafe Au Lait Provence: This candle is scented with lavender and a lemony verbana to help energize, brighten and enhance the mood of those around it.

Hot Chicks Cosmo Compatible/ Cafe Au Lait Soiree: This candle is scented with a cranberry and citrus liqueur scent, to smell like a Cosmo martini. Perfect for the sophisticated giftee … and the part-goer as well.
