3-D Wall Decor for Kid’s Rooms #win

A quick way to add personality to a child’s room and/or change up the theme is by adding some new wall decor. Wall stickers have been all the rage on theMomBuzz, since they are easy to apply and remove. Almost too easy – as my 2 year old will climb anything to remove them, as he wants to interact with them. Then they come off the wall, stick together and have to go “buh-bye”.

That’s where Wallables comes in. They are 3-D Wall Decor that encourage touch and sensory exploration. They come off the wall easily and can be reapplied using a hearty Velcro backing. You stick one side of the Velcro sticker on the wall or if you like the sticker is able to stick to all kids furniture pieces in their room. Let it set for 1 hour to 1 day. Then you attach the Wallable decor, which has Velcro on it’s back. If your child wants to touch/ take down the Wallable, they can. And then you can just stick it back up when they are done. LOVE IT.

What really caught my eye about Wallables is that they have a line-up of Toy Story and Cars characters, from the Pixar movies. Wallables sent theMomBuzz.com a Buzz Lightyear Wallable, which I was LOVING. My son was so excited as I put it on his wall – yes, my two year old. And my four year old wants a Woody Wallable, which is also available. My 4 year old’s room is actually all decorated with Cowboy items, so it would be a great fit for him!

Back to the Buzz Wallable – he measures 11″ x 9″ and is 2″ thick. He is soft, so he can’t clunk someone’s head, but still sturdy (as in my 2 year old hasn’t ripped him apart or dented him!) I believe some Wallables glow in the dark, but as far as I can tell, Buzz does not. He is $23.99 at Wallables.com. If you see a Toy Story Wallable Character you like and want to gift to a special child, I’d buy it ASAP. I see them selling out often on the site.  Other Toy Story Wallable Characters include Woody, Aliens and Rex.

Wallables also surprised us with a Mater from Cars Wallable, since they have just gone on sale at Toys R Us late July/ early August. He measures 9″ x 11″ and is around 2″ thick. Lightening McQueen is also available. And other Disney set/characters include Disney Princesses, Disney Fairies and Winnie-the-Pooh and Friends.

Wallables also has non-Disney options, like Jungle Sweeties, Soft Smiles, and Alphabet Letters. The Jungle Sweeties and Soft Smiles run about $1 less than the Disney Characters. The Alphabet Letters are only $7.95, making them an affordable way to spell your child’s name in their nursery.

Also cool, is that Wallables are EcoFriendly. They are made with US grown soybeans, which minimizes their carbon footprint. It’s perfect for environmentally-conscious moms that are going green. If your baby is in a cloth diaper (which mine was) then Wallables are your go-to wall decor, too! How many nursery decorations are eco-friendly?

Overall, the Mom Buzz is impressed with the Wallables selection. I am thinking of adding to my other son’s decor with a Woody Wallable … once Woody is available again!
