The Mom Buzz prides itself on picking products that are “buzzworthy”. There are different things that make a product stand out to me. It’s actually pretty hard to impress me when it comes to dolls – they were never “my thing” growing up. Instead I have learned from watching my goddaughters about what will be hot for the ages 4 to 6.

Right now I know they will adore the Terri Lee dolls. The original Terri Lee has been around since 1946 and had over 500 outfits to dress up in. Oh My Goodness, how can a little girl NOT fall in love with that concept. In fact, if you do an online search for Terri Lee, you’ll see what the classic dolls used to look like. But now Terri Lee is back -  new and improved, made of sturdier materials and ready to collect a whole new wardrobe with a new generation of girls.

You can learn more abut each doll on the site, with their specific likes, dislikes and fun facts. But a real fun fact is that she will have new outfits coming in stock in 2011 – so close! There are Blonde Terri Lees, Brunette Terri Lees and African American Terri Lee dolls.

TIP: When you go to the SHOP PAGE you only see four dolls – be sure to push the arrow to see the rest! On the first page you will see two brunettes and two African American. When you hit the arrow you see the two blondes and the other two African American options.

Terri Lee’s are cherub-like, as the original artist sculpted them after her own daughter. They are 15″ tall. My opinion is that it’s a great price ($34.99), there are many more outfits to come next  year to make this continuously fun dressing Terri Lee in new fashions, she is sturdy, has gorgeous hair and features and is perfect for girls 3 and up – as well as Terri Lee collectors.
