Pillsbury Grands! Frozen Mini Biscuits #win #myblogspark

Normally I buy my Pillsbury biscuits in the refrigerated aisle in those little pop tubes. They are a huge hit around the holidays, when we make 3 tubes of them, pop them open, bake them and gobble them up nice and warm with butter. Sometimes as a treat I buy them, “fry” them in veggie oil (not quite healthy?) and make homemade donuts with them.

I never really thought about trying the Frozen Mini Biscuits though. You can buy a whole bag of them, which has around 20 to a bag. Each 70-calorie biscuit is a delight when served hot from the oven, with a warm fluffy center and golden, flaky crust. You pop them in the oven and they cook up nice and warm, making them a delicious part of any dinner. The kids really love them.

Pillsbury Grands! Mini Biscuits are the perfect size for kids, or for mini sandwiches and appetizers. There are countless recipe options, from miniature ham sandwiches come lunchtime, to delicious sliders for nighttime entertaining. There are so many ways to make these biscuits and your family will love trying each one.

And just like the biscuits that come in the tubes, you can “donut-size” these frozen mini biscuits! I made a cream cheese filling, with cream cheese, vanilla and powdered sugar. (I also added rum to some for adult versions.) After the biscuits baked in the oven, I dipped them in butter and rolled them in cinnamon/sugar. Then I filled them with the cream cheese filling! They were a great, warm treat after a busy day.
