I am so old school sometimes. I have notebooks and post-it notes all over the house “trying” to keep me organized. But I also accept new innovations, which are actually WHAT keeps me organized. For example, I may have a note on the calendar telling me I have a doctor appointment at 10:30. But at 10am, my alarm on my iPhone will alert me to actually GO to the doctor the appointment.

sweetrelish1I also have a list of gift ideas written in a notebook. It’s full of items crossed off and erased, when I change my mind. And I have page after page for birthday, Christmas, and other events. But there is a website (new to me) called Sweet Relish that can help you get organized with shopping, wish lists and even discovering new products!

There is a FREE Sweet Relish app that lets you shop and save items from your favorite sites. Plus, you can browse the Sweet Relish site and save items from there, too. You can build birthday lists, a closet of virtual clothes, make a list of items for your dream house, whatever you think up! Come back when you are ready to finalize a purchase, this week, next month or next year! And your picks are share-able on Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter and through other social means.

  1. I’ve heard of this a lot recently and I do like the idea of the “wishlist” being available online. You know why? Because inevitably I leave my paper list at home when I’m out and about!
