Who is excited about Super Bowl commercials this year? Which ones are going to get the most chatter around the water cooler and on your Facebook feed? Well, theMomBuzz says to keep an eye out for Coca-Cola’s commercials.
One of their 60-second Big Game ads is being called “Going All The Way”. It is an all-American tale of triumph over adversity. The story follows this tiny boy, Adrian, who has been struggling to fit in. Suddenly the opportunity to make his mark lands in his arms, literally, when the opposing team fumbles the ball. That’s when it’s Adrian’s time to shine. You can see him running with his head up high and legs pumping as he scores the game’s touchdown. But he doesn’t stop there!
After scoring a touchdown, you see him running through the streets of Ashwaubenon and then he runs the length of Lambeau Field (home of the Green Bay Packers), performs a touchdown dance and attempts his own Lambeau Leap in front of a nearly empty stadium. Finally, Adrian celebrates this moment of happiness and accomplishment when a groundskeeper hands him an ice-cold Coca-Cola. I loved listening to the child they chose, Phillip Cates, talk about his experience filming.
“Going All The Way” will air during the second half of the Big Game. But you can also watch it here:
Supporting Boys & Girls Clubs of America
Why watch and share the video? Well, Coca-Cola has been bringing people together to support communities and organizations like Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) for 127 years. Today, more than 4,000 Clubs serve some four million young people annually through Club membership and community outreach.
To celebrate the launch of “Going All The Way,” Coca-Cola will donate $50,000 to the BGCA Triple Play program once the spot reaches 10,000 shares online. So watch the YouTube video, share with friends and help trigger that BIG BGCA donation. They are tracking views for the BGCA donation from January 27 to February 3.
BGCA enables young people to achieve great futures and provides them with supportive relationships, enrichment programs and a safe and positive environment to make new friends. The Coca-Cola Company is a founding sponsor of the BGCA Triple Play program, which encourages young people to eat a balanced diet, become more physically active and increase their ability to engage in healthy relationships.
