Thump-Thump-Thump of the EarJax Echo Wireless Speaker

This post is brought to you in collaboration with BodyGuardz.

My husband and my oldest son are music maniacs. They love playing a variety of music in the car, on their SmartPhones, in their rooms and more. I love listening with them, so it’s nice when my son is able to listen on a wireless speaker instead of just his headphones.

My son has been using the Earjax Echo Wireless Speaker, which is compact with big sound. It has a minimalistic appearance, so it complements any room decor. It actually looks like a fat salt shaker a big, with it’s cylindrical shape and the openings on top to amplify the sound.

You can either use it’s Bluetooth capabilities to play your music, or you can use an auxiliary cord if your device does not have Bluetooth capabilities. Using the auxiliary cord will also lengthen the earjax’s playtime. The playtime when you use the Bluetooth is 2 to 3 hours. With an auxiliary cord, you can play music for 8 to 10 hours.

It takes 2 hours to charge the Earjax Echo. A red LED light flashes for low battery. To charge, you attach the USB end of the supplied cord to a computer or other charging station. The red light remains on when recharging and will turn off when it is completely recharged.

The range for the Bluetooth is impressive, up to 32 feet. You adjust the volume by rotating the top. There is a power button on the front of the speaker, but it automatically turns off when not connected to a device for a minute.

One additional cool feature is that the Earjax Echo can also turn your phone into a speaker phone. Answer incoming calls by pressing the power button. There is a mic right next to the power button.

Since the Earjax Echo is portable, it comes with a microfiber bag. It also comes with its 2-piece charging cable. You can keep the charging cable safe in the microfiber bag when not in use.

Overall, we find that Earjax offers top quality sound performance and easy use in this sleek and simple portable design. The Earjax Echo is available in black or white for a MSRP of $79.95. It is available along with other BodyGuardz products at

Buzzworthy: With every earjax purchase, you help provide the gift of sound to disadvantage children through the Starkey Hearing Foundation.
