I am a Rayovac sponsored Blogger. This is my opinion on the topic and samples received.
When my husband start imagining where we might end up in the years to come, we find it hard to imagine living anywhere other than Florida. Although, California and Hawaii would be second and third on our “we would consider” list. We just love the weather and the local attractions. It seems like every weekend there is something to do – beach, water parks, barbecues with friends. And holidays are just a great excuse to do our usual fun – but in more exciting ways.
For example, the Fourth of July is coming up fast! It’s when American recognize the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, as well as the official declaration of independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain. And it s a great excuse to watch GIANT fireworks in the sky. *BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM*
Locally we have a few decisions of what we will do this day to celebrate the beautiful and proud USA. Some ideas are:
- Viewing the Fireworks by Boat,
- Visit SeaWorld for their Fourth of July Celebration,
- Head to Lowry Park Zoo for their Red, White and Zoo Holiday Weekend,
- Salute America with the Magical Mouse at Walt Disney World,
- and possibly our winner for 2014, the Red, Brick and Boom at LEGOLAND Florida.
We still have a few days to decide and plan. One thing we are sure of is that we will be making memories with our little family. When we drag out our iPhones and iPads to record the fireworks and take pictures of the day, we don’t want to be caught with a drained battery.
A portable charger, like the Rayovac 7 Hour Power Charger, helps recharge our devices back to 100%. And unlike other portable chargers, which you have to charge to use to begin with, this one takes 4 batteries! (Rayovac batteries are made in the USA!) We almost always have batteries packed into our camera case or travel bags – so win! No outlet, no problem. Just use the included cord (USB and Apple Cord included) to repower up your device.
And if you are out traveling late to enjoy those fireworks, remember to throw a flashlight in your bag or trunk for emergencies. We just received the Rayovac Virtually Quasi Indestructible, Industrial Grade Flashlight. It’s small but mighty, with its rubber shock absorbers, aluminum titanium body and shatterproof lens and reflector. Just 3 AAA USA-Made Rayovac batteries will give you a bright 120 lumens to help brighten your night when the fireworks are long gone. (Also great for road trips, boats, emergency car kits and camping.)
So those are our thoughts and plans for the upcoming Fourth of July! How and where do you celebrate? And how important is USA Made to you?
