Sapling Child Cross my Heart Dress

Sapling Child is a baby clothing company based out of Australia. i was interested in their company, because they specialize in making clothes that are 100% certified organic. To me, this is healthier for our environment and our children. Sapling Child makes clothes for boys and girls from onesies to wraps.

What really caught my eye was the Cross my Heart Dress, which is currently available in two colors – Yellow (Lemon Sherbert) and a sweet light blue called Spearmint. I received the Lemon Sherbert option for review and could not wait to put it on my daughter.

This amazing sunshine color is printed using vegetable dyes that are free from toxic chemicals. The dress is fully lined and amazingly soft.

Other than the beautiful fabric and environmentally friendly materials used to make this dress, I really loved the adjustable straps. You can cross the straps in the back or just wear it like spaghetti straps. The dress can be worn with a onesie underneath or just by itself.

Since we are in Florida and it is the middle of the summer, I truly appreciate the light breathable material used to make this dress. It keeps my daughter cool and comfortable. I have often found clothes for my daughter that look cute but the material just does not feel soft enough or it gets worse as you wash it. This dress seems to get softer the more I wash it and the colors are just as vibrant as when I first received it. And I can’t get over the price. This perfect little dress is currently just $34.95!

Sapling Child has so many great clothing options for babies and I hope that they will expand to include more options for older kids, because my daughter is growing like a … well, sapling!
