Holly Baking: A Grown Up Easter Basket

Okay, this time of year we get all busy talking about Easter Baskets for kids. Peep-Filled, Sugar-Substitutes, Toys not Candy. So many options to fill those baskets for the kids, of course. But what about mom and dad? Maybe we want more than to bite the ears of our kid’s chocolate bunnies. Quality over quantity, right?

Butter Rich Cookie Brittle: This is their official best seller. Cookie Brittle crisp and crunchy. The Butter Rich flavor is melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Cookie Brittle also comes in other awesome flavors, like Espresso, Hazelnut Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Toffee, Chocolate Peppermint and a Sweet Ginger. The ingredient list is honestly simple. It contains Unbleached Flour, Butter, Sugar, Dark Brown Sugar, Vanilla Extract and Salt.


French Butter Cookies: These are a Sofi Award Finalist. I adored the real butter flavor and it’s just-right crunchy texture. I would love to try their Almond Butter in the future. They also have Meyer Lemon and Ginger Spice. Once again I am in awe of the ingredient label, I can easily read it. It contains Unbleached Flour, Butter, Sugar, Dark Brown Sugar, Vanilla Extract and Salt.


Chocolate Toffee Cookie Brittle: I like that these have the crisp and crunchy cookie of the Butter Rich Cookie Brittle, but are smothered and covered in chocolate with toffee bits on top. This one has more ingredients, because of it.


Chocolate Chip “The Classic” Cookies: When it comes down to it, I love a good, classic Choco Chip Cookie. These are more crisp, not chewy. Their Classic Chocolate Chip has two kinds of chocolate chips and no preservatives. The Chocolate Chips are Semi-Sweet and Milk Chocolate, if you are wondering. It’s not a secret, it’s right on the side of the box! So if you don’t have time to make homemade cookies at home, this is the next best thing.


Dark Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies: After a classic chocolate chip cookie, my next favorite is Double Chocolate. I don’t make them at home, because I’d be the only one eating them. So it’s nice to get my fix, free of preservatives, from Holly Baking. Just like their “Classic”, this one uses both Semi-Sweet and Milk Chocolate Chips, but this time baked in chocolate cookie dough. Nom Nom Natural!

These samples I received were just a few of their large selection.
