Activity Books for Spring – Suggested for Ages 6 – 10

This is the opinion of theMomBuzz, based on past purchases and product samples. TheMomBuzz is an Amazon affiliate.

I’ve always gifted my boys activity books. When younger, it helped with reading, matching and fine motor skills. As they get older, it’s just plain fun! There are a variety of activity books, on movies, characters and even with an educational bent. Face it, kids in the 6 – 10 range LOVE facts non-fiction books. They absorb niche information like a scholar. So this Easter, it’s a no brainer for me to add Activity Books to their Easter Baskets.

DK Publishing is always awesome for high-quality Activity Books. They end up on our book shelves once the boys complete them. Three ideas from their new 2016 collection include:

human body

Ultimate Factivity Collection: Human Body: This is the one I am giving my 10 year old. It is 96 pages and has a MSRP of $12.99. My oldest loves science. This activity book is filled with amazing facts about the human body and how it works. There are 500 stickers, quizzes, opportunities to draw, mazes and more.

space

Ultimate Factivity Collection: Space: I loved this idea too. Also 96 pages and $12.99, here you get to explore the universe and find out amazing facts about black holes, outer space and stars. Using a variety of activities and stickers, children will learn a lot about the final frontier, as they use it to guide them through space and what exists beyond our Earth. A great way to learn about the mysteries of the universe!

ultimate super heroes

Ultimate Sticker Collection: DC Comics Super Heroes: This is the book I chose for my 8 year old. The tooth fairy gave it to him and he immediately got to work, matching and filling the pages with the supplied stickers. It was full of DC’s coolest Super Heroes, giving him an in-depth look at their spectacular super powers, weapons, battles and their arch nemesis.

These activity books are new this year. I like to stock up, because they are great as gifts, for school breaks, for long car trips, as rewards for good grades and to put in Easter Baskets or Christmas Stockings. They are available direct from the publisher or Amazon.com.
