Dr. Eureka #FamilyGameNight – Who is the Quickest Scientist in Your Family

TheMomBuzz received Dr. Eureka for review.

My family loves “game night”. On Fridays we do video game night, with either the XBox 360 or Wii U. And on Saturdays it is Board Game Night. We rotate who chooses the game every week. I LOVE this tradition we have and I love keeping it interesting with fun, new games. I mean, the classics are great, but every now and then you want to mix things up.

You can really mix things up, like a mad scientist, with Dr. Eureka. Dr. Eureka, designed by the award winning Roberto Fraga, is a tactile problem solving and brainteasing matching game. Players receive three test tubes with molecules (colored balls) inside one of them. A card is flipped and players have to pass the colorful molecules between test tubes to match the pattern on a challenge card without losing a marble. The game builds both cognitive processing and dexterity skills.

The game is for ages 8 and up, with up to four players. I agree with the age suggestion, based on playing with my 10 and 8 year old. The game is released by BlueOrangeGames. Their games are some of the most well-made and innovative out there. You can purchase their games from their site, Amazon, or from approved retailers.
