LEGOLOCHMy two boys are so different, although they are only 19 months apart. One is more active and athletic, the other is more intense and technology oriented. One thing they both love is LEGOs, and not just the themed sets. They like taking their bricks and building challenging, unique items of their own creations – just as LEGO intended.

That’s why I love the DK book 365 Things to Do with LEGO Bricks. Pretty much, it has ideas for EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR! From LEGO projects that take just a few minutes and a handful of bricks, to aspirational ideas and activities that will make the most of their loose bricks, this book encourages creativity, fun and the development of new building skills.

Like every DK book I’ve ever come across, this one utilizes full color images and directions that attracts children and helps them visualize the tips and advice to the fullest degree. The book offers ideas for sculptures, activities, games, LEGO personalization and more.

It also has a cool timer built into the book and a random number generator to help kids decide which awesome activity to tackle next.

I HIGHLY SUGGEST this book. It is hardcover and has an MSRP of $24.99, but you can find great deals on Amazon right now for it.
