1. Guppyween at the Florida Aquarium: Kids can trick-or-treat throughout the Aquarium, enjoy family-friendly entertainment for the kids and all the galleries will be open for viewing. The prices are GREAT! Kids in costume are only $5. Adults (12 yrs or older) get in for $15.Florida Aquarium Passholders and those under 2 are free. This event takes place on October 27, 2013 from 4:00pm – 8:00pm. (701 Channelside Drive,Tampa, Florida 33602)

2. ZOOBOO at Lowry Park Zoo: Come creep around ZooBoo at Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo with thrills and fun for the entire family. Attractions range in scare levels, to ensure little ones have fun and older kids can get their screams in. There are haunted houses, animal encounters, Zoo-wide spooktacular displays and lights, Creepy Crawler Lane, monster characters, specialty gift shop, night-rides and more. Dates are September 27-28 – $12 Shriek Peek Preview Weekend, October 4-5, 11-13, 18-20 & 24-27. Times are 7-11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. (1101 W. Sligh Avenue, Tampa, FL 33604)

3. SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular: TheMomBuzz has attended this event for 3 years and it certainly is magical fun. The spooktacular is no extra costs, so passholders and day guests can enjoy these extra seasonal show, games and zones. There is a party zone with music, games, dancing and awesome characters. Kids can dress up and go trick-or-treating at candy stations. And there are two Halloween shows, the Count’s Countdown to Halloween and a chance to be a Sea-lebrity in your costume best! The Spooktacular runs all weekends in October. (7007 SeaWorld Drive, SeaWorld Orlando)

4. LEGOLAND Florida’s Brick-0r-Treat: Ghouls, ghosts and goblins will invade LEGOLAND® Florida during its second kid-friendly Halloween celebration of Brick-or-Treat. This spooky, kooky event takes place on Saturdays in October from 9:30am to 7pm and Sundays in October from 9:30am to 6pm. As passholders, we’ll be attending this year! I’ll be sure to share my thoughts once we go. Keep your eyes peeled (ewww!) for an upcoming review. (One LEGOLAND Way, Winter Haven, FL 33884, 877- 350-LEGO)

5. Mickey’s Not-so-Scary Halloween Party: We’ve done this event twice and we are so anxious to go again! It is Disney – beyond Magical. The first time I brought the boys they were 3 and 2 and they talked about it the WHOLE YEAR until we went again the following year. There are plenty of picture opportunities with villains and Disney character’s in their own Halloween costumes. There are also plenty of trick-or-treat stations, so come in costume! And the “Boo to You” Halloween parade is the BEST, starting the headless horseman racing through the streets on horseback. Don’t forget about Happy Hallowishes Firework Display, as well as the fact they COMPLETELY TRANSFORM THE PARK. Ghosts are silhouetted on buildings, decorations everywhere, pumpkin displays – it’s just awesome. This is a special evening event, which means you have to pay extra to attend – it is not included with an annual pass or day pass. It runs select nights from September 10, 2013 to November 1, 2013. (3111 World Dr., Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830)

1. Howl-o-Scream: Welcome to the Dark Side of the Gardens, with this year’s theme being the 13 Howl-o-Scream. 13 Different Evils are coming out to play, tormenting you with new Scream Zones and Haunted Houses! New houses include Death Water Bayou and The Basement. Remember to also try the ALONE house, for an extra fee. Up to four people can enter ALONE (teehee)! Many coasters and rides are still open and all sorts of creatures are roaming the park for photo opps and unexpected scares. For dates and times, visit HowloScream.com or just click this link … if you dare: Dates and Times This is the 13th year this event is open – a lucky number? And follow them on Facebook, I spotted a promo code there! (10165 N McKinley Dr, Tampa, FL 33612, 1-888-800-5447)

2. Halloween Horror Nights: I’ve been to this event maybe 2 times and both times have been so scared I barely remember it – I blocked it out. It might be time to go again. I spotted An American Werewolf in London attraction, and that is one of my favorite movies! And I’ve heard amazing buzz about their Walking Dead house and the attention to detail they’ve put into it, to best match the TV series. Plus, there are more houses, like Resident Evil with the Umbrella Corporation’s experiments on the loose and the most terrifying  Evil Dead? This is the 23rd year of Halloween Horror Nights! It’s open select nights from September 20th – November 2nd. Click here for dates and times: Halloween Horror Nights 2013 . (1000 Universal Studios Plaza Orlando, Florida 32819-7610)
